The ministry was started in the 1950s by Mary Light and Barbara Crozer with the official charter being signed by the church membership in 1966.
In 2019, the church membership approved an addition to the original church (built in 1955) to serve an increasing population.
In 2022, the new sanctuary was dedicated to accommodate a congregation of 96 worshipers per service.
